CloudLex Alternative and CloudLex Competitors Compared by Price
Firms search for a CloudLex alternative for two reasons: they are on the platform and facing a renewal, or they are halfway through a demo and still have no number. This page sets out what CloudLex actually publishes, read from its own pricing, intake and Lexee AI pages on 25 September 2026, which features sit on which package, where it is still the right buy, what each realistic competitor costs, and when the thing losing you cases is a different kind of product altogether.

In short
CloudLex is case management built only for plaintiff personal injury firms, sold in three packages (Professional, Advanced and Enterprise) with no published price: its own pricing page says it does not publish or authorize standard per user pricing and quotes each firm after a demo. The closest like for like with a printed price is CasePeer, at $90, $130 and $160 per user a month, with intake from $130. If what you actually need is every new inquiry screened and booked before another firm calls back, Consultations runs that intake conversation itself, from $49 a month for one attorney or $129 for up to five, in front of whatever case system you keep.
CloudLex is a system of record for a plaintiff personal injury practice: matters, medical records and bills, liens, insurance coverage, settlement calculations, documents and firm reporting, plus optional AI and staffed services on top. Consultations does one job at the very front. It talks to the injured person the moment they reach your website, asks your screening questions in plain conversation, checks the answers against the criteria your firm sets, collects the photos or police report the matter needs and books the consultation, then hands the attorney a structured brief. If you want one platform to run the whole case, CloudLex is a reasonable home. If signed cases are slipping because nobody reached the lead in time, that part can be fixed this week without moving a single matter.
Side by side
CloudLex vs Consultations, honestly
A fair look at what each does well. Both are capable tools. Here is where they differ.
| What matters | Consultations | CloudLex |
|---|---|---|
| Published price | $49, $129 or $299 a month flat per firm, on the pricing page | None. The pricing page says it does not publish standard per user pricing; quote after a demo |
| How it bills | Per firm, monthly or yearly at half the monthly price | Custom quote by package, users, storage, integrations, AI and optional services |
| Runs the intake conversation itself | Yes. An AI conversation screens every website inquiry at any hour | Yes, through Lexee AI chat and voice lead capture where enabled, inside CloudLex |
| Books the consultation | Yes, inside the same conversation, onto your calendar | Lexee assigns the lead to your staff; booking is not described |
| Lead qualification status | Every inquiry checked against the criteria you set, edge cases flagged | Lead status and qualification from the Advanced package |
| Case management | Not included. It hands off a brief and an export | Full PI case management: medical records, bills, liens, settlement calculations |
| Time to go live | Self serve, no implementation fee, no data migration | Data import, onboarding and training by the vendor after a quote |

Why pros pick Consultations
One AI conversation that qualifies, intakes, books, and briefs
An AI conversation, not a form
Instead of a static form or a calendar link, our AI talks with each lead in plain language, qualifies them against your criteria, and asks for exactly what you need to know.
The whole front door in one place
Qualify, intake, collect documents, book the paid appointment, and produce a prepped brief, all in a single conversation, so you stop stitching tools together.
You walk in prepared
Every booked meeting comes with a clean brief of who is coming and why, so you only take the right consultations and you are ready before the call starts.
Why firms look for a CloudLex alternative
Few firms leave CloudLex because it lacks features. It was built only for plaintiff personal injury work, and the plan comparison on its pricing page covers matter overviews, bodily injury narratives, medical records and bills, insurance coverage, liens, settlement negotiations and calculations, Office 365 calendaring, texting, eFax and a plaintiff portal. For a PI firm that wants one system, that is most of the practice.
The first practical reason is the number. Read on 25 September 2026, every package on the pricing page ends in Request a Demo, and the page's own FAQ says CloudLex does not publish or authorize standard public per user pricing. It adds that any CloudLex price on a third party site should be treated as an estimate that may not reflect current pricing. So the figures you have seen on software directories are, by the vendor's own account, guesses.
The second reason is the move. CloudLex is a system of record, so switching to it or away from it means importing matters, retraining the team and rebuilding workflows. The third is the one that decides revenue: a case system only helps once the lead is inside it. The injured driver who fills in your website form at 10 at night signs with whichever firm reaches them first.
- No published price on any of the three packages
- The vendor itself says third party price figures are estimates
- Lead qualification starts on Advanced; the website chatbot and call center workspace on Enterprise
- Switching means a full data import and retraining
- Leads that arrive after hours still depend on what is enabled and staffed
What CloudLex Professional, Advanced and Enterprise include
Because no package carries a price, the feature split is the only thing you can evaluate before the sales call. Professional covers matter management, the contact directory with built in texting, eFax and email, expense and task management with automated workflows, and document management including medical records, bills, insurance coverage and liens. The plan comparison lists pre loaded PI intake forms and secure shareable e intake forms without a package restriction.
Advanced adds matter, calendar and task reporting, lead management with status and one click qualification, and an API integration for your website contact forms. Enterprise adds what the page calls lead and intake management (a website chatbot and a call center or intake agent workspace), QuickBooks Online expense management, AI powered fuzzy search, referral collaboration with other PI firms, and ten year HIPAA compliant closed case archival.
On top of the packages, CloudLex sells optional add ons: remote paralegal support, a bilingual call center and messenger service in English and Spanish, medical record retrieval, cognitive search and closed case storage. Its Lexee AI layer adds website chat and phone lead capture that asks pre intake questions based on your rules, assigns the lead to staff and converts it to an intake in one click. So if you were sold on AI intake, confirm which package and which add on the demo was showing.
- Professional: matters, contacts and texting, tasks and workflows, documents, medical records, liens
- Advanced: reporting, lead status and qualification, website forms API
- Enterprise: website chatbot, intake agent workspace, QuickBooks, AI search, archival
- Add ons: bilingual call center, remote paralegals, medical record retrieval
- Lexee AI: chat and voice lead capture, pre intake screening, one click lead to intake
Where CloudLex is still the better buy
If your firm wants intake, case work, medical and lien tracking, settlement math and reporting in one platform built only for plaintiff injury work, CloudLex is a serious option. Its hosting on Microsoft Azure with HIPAA compliance, its Office 365 integration and its referral tracking between PI firms are real strengths for a firm handling medical records at volume.
The staffed services are also something most software vendors do not offer. A firm that needs Spanish language phone coverage overnight, or remote paralegals for record retrieval and case operations, can buy those from the same vendor that holds the case file, which removes a handoff.
So this page does not argue that you should leave CloudLex or avoid it. It argues that you should know which job you are buying it for, and whether the job losing you signed cases is a smaller one you can fix without a platform decision.
- One platform from intake to settlement, built only for plaintiff PI
- HIPAA compliant hosting on Microsoft Azure
- Bilingual call center and remote paralegals from the same vendor
- Referral out and tracking between PI firms on Enterprise
- Medical records, bills, liens and insurance coverage in the matter
CloudLex competitors, by the job you are replacing
CasePeer is the closest like for like: personal injury case management with intake attached, owned by 8am, and unlike CloudLex it prints a price. Read on 22 September 2026, it shows $90, $130 and $160 per user per month, with no long term contract or setup fee. Client intake management starts on Pro, so the honest intake floor there is $130 per user. Jove, the platform formerly called GrowPath, is also built for PI firms; it publishes no figure but states the first year is free apart from a fixed implementation fee, with no per user fees.
Lead Docket is the choice if lead tracking and attribution matter more than case management; it is Filevine's lead product and its pricing page, read 21 September 2026, is a custom quote form. Law Ruler is quote only on all three tiers and billed monthly on an annual term. Lawmatics, read 9 September, publishes no price on any tier and has a three user minimum on Essential and Premium. Filevine and Litify are quote only too.
Of that field, only CasePeer publishes a price. And apart from CloudLex's own Lexee layer, none of them talks to the prospective client for you. If your team is the bottleneck, or inquiries arrive after the team has gone home, the alternative is a different kind of product: one that screens the prospect, collects documents and books the consultation on its own, and sits in front of whichever case system you choose.
- PI case management with a real price: CasePeer, $130 per user for intake
- PI platform with a free first year: Jove (formerly GrowPath), quote for year two
- Lead tracking and attribution: Lead Docket, quote only, Filevine native
- CRM with campaigns: Law Ruler or Lawmatics, both quote only
- The conversation itself, at any hour: an AI intake agent from $49 a month
Running Consultations with CloudLex, or instead of it
The most common setup is to keep your case management system and put Consultations at the front door. The injured person talks to the intake conversation on your website, answers the screening questions your firm defines (date of the accident, treatment so far, liability facts, insurance, whether another firm is already involved), uploads photos or a police report, and books a consultation if they fit. The completed intake, with answers and documents, is yours to export into CloudLex or any other system, and the Firm plan adds advanced integrations.
Choosing Consultations instead of a new platform makes sense for a smaller firm that was shopping mainly to stop losing inquiries and whose current case system is fine. In that case the part you needed was the intake itself, and it goes live the same day without a migration or a quote. Solo is $49 a month for one attorney. Practice, at $129 for up to five professionals, adds document collection during intake and qualification rules per practice area, which is where most PI firms land. Firm, at $299 for up to twenty, adds voice intake alongside chat and advanced integrations. All three are flat per firm, with no implementation fee.
Every plan is paid by card, either monthly with no annual term or once a year at half the monthly price: $288, $768 or $1,788. You can run the intake conversation at the top of this page right now and see exactly what a prospective client would see.
- Alongside CloudLex: intake runs first, the completed record exports to your case system
- Instead of a new platform, if intake was the job: $129 a month with document collection
- No per user charge at any tier, no implementation fee
- Monthly with no annual term, or yearly at half the monthly price
- Live the same day, with your own screening questions

Per user CloudLex figures circulate on software directories. CloudLex's own pricing FAQ says it does not publish or authorize standard public per user pricing and that third party figures should be treated as estimates, so we do not repeat them. CasePeer's figures are its monthly per user list prices. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm with the vendor before you sign.

What buyers ask about CloudLex alternatives
What is the best alternative to CloudLex?
It depends on the job. For personal injury case management with a published price, CasePeer is the closest match, at $130 per user a month for the tier that includes intake. Jove offers a free first year and no per user fees. If leads wait too long for a person to screen them, Consultations runs the intake conversation itself, from $49 a month.
How much does CloudLex cost?
CloudLex does not publish a price. Read on 25 September 2026, its pricing page offers Professional, Advanced and Enterprise packages, each with Request a Demo, and its FAQ says pricing is customized by package, number of users, intake and case management needs, storage, integrations, AI capabilities and optional services.
Is CloudLex pricing on software directories accurate?
Not necessarily. CloudLex's own pricing FAQ says it does not publish or authorize standard public per user pricing, and that figures on third party websites should be treated as estimates that may be outdated. Treat any per user number you find on a directory as a guess, and ask for a written quote.
Who are CloudLex's competitors?
CloudLex competes with other personal injury case management platforms: CasePeer, Jove (formerly GrowPath), SmartAdvocate, Filevine with Lead Docket, and Litify, plus general practice tools such as Clio and MyCase. Of the PI specialists, CasePeer is the one that prints a price on its own page.
Does CloudLex have AI intake?
Yes. Its Lexee AI layer captures leads through website chat and phone, asks pre intake questions based on your firm's rules, assigns the lead to staff and converts it to an intake in one click. The website chatbot and intake agent workspace appear on the Enterprise package, so confirm what your quote includes.
Is CloudLex only for personal injury firms?
Yes. CloudLex describes itself as built exclusively for plaintiff personal injury law firms, and its features follow: medical records and bills, liens, insurance coverage, bodily injury narratives and settlement calculations. A family law or estate planning firm would pay for tooling it does not use.
