CasePeer prints a price and Jove, the platform that used to be GrowPath, does not, so the honest comparison is a per user bill against a year of free software followed by a quote. Read on 22 September 2026, CasePeer charges $90, $130 and $160 per user per month, and client intake starts on the $130 Pro tier. Jove gives the first year free apart from a fixed implementation fee, charges no per user fees, and prices year two by firm complexity after a demo. For a ten person personal injury firm, CasePeer Pro is $15,600 a year, and that is the number to put in front of Jove's sales team.
CasePeer figures come from casepeer.com/pricing and Jove figures from jovelegal.com/pricing, both read on 22 September 2026. Where a vendor shows no number, we say so rather than estimate one.

CasePeer just raised its prices
If you priced CasePeer earlier this year, your numbers are out of date. On 3 September 2026 its pricing page showed $79, $119 and $149 per user per month. On 22 September it shows $90, $130 and $160. That is an $11 increase on every tier, roughly 9 to 14 percent depending on the plan, and a ten user firm on Pro now pays $110 a month more than it would have three weeks ago.
Software directories have not caught up, and many of the CasePeer figures they quote predate this change, so check the date on any number you find there. The FAQ on CasePeer's own pricing page is unambiguous: Basic is $90, Pro is $130, Advanced is $160, the bill depends on the number of active users, and there is no long term contract or setup fee.
The tier that matters for intake is Pro. Client intake management, intake forms, the intake portal and lead tracking are listed from Pro upward, alongside unlimited two way texting that accepts images, over 50 additional reports, more than 20 integrations and CasePeer's legal AI writing assistant. Basic is case management without intake. Advanced adds scheduled texts, data sync, multi office reporting, an intake investigator portal, case grades and API access.
What Jove publishes instead of a number
Jove's pricing page contains no dollar figure. What it does publish is the shape of the deal, which is more than most legal software vendors offer. The first year is free, minus implementation costs. Implementation is a single fixed fee. There are no per user fees. Pricing is based on firm complexity rather than headcount, and the page promises no surprise fees or mid contract markups.
The two tiers are Essentials and Elite. Essentials includes intake management, OppAlerts (keyword prompts, such as mesothelioma, that tell staff to ask extra questions), SOL calendars, document storage, eFax, SMS, the automated damages calculator, smart disbursals and five firm reports. Elite adds the features most people associate with GrowPath's intake reputation: lead scoring, the Lead Chaser follow up sequences, email marketing, referral transparency, QuickBooks integration and productivity tracking.
One caution about directories here too. At least one large directory lists Jove as starting at $79 a month on a Basic plan. Jove has no Basic tier and its page states no figure, so treat that number as unsourced.
Which one costs less for your firm?
Because only one side publishes a number, the useful move is to work out CasePeer's bill exactly and use it as the ceiling in your Jove negotiation. Here is what CasePeer Pro, the cheapest tier with intake, costs at typical personal injury headcounts.
| Active users | CasePeer Pro, monthly | CasePeer Pro, yearly | CasePeer Advanced, yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 | $390 | $4,680 | $5,760 |
| 5 | $650 | $7,800 | $9,600 |
| 10 | $1,300 | $15,600 | $19,200 |
| 20 | $2,600 | $31,200 | $38,400 |
Jove's year one is the implementation fee and nothing else, so on a pure first year basis Jove is almost certainly cheaper unless that fee is very large. Ask for it in writing. The real comparison is year two onward. Because Jove does not bill per user, the gap widens in its favor as your team grows: a firm going from 10 to 20 users doubles its CasePeer bill and, by Jove's stated model, leaves its Jove bill unchanged unless the firm's complexity changes.
Three questions to take into the Jove call: What is the fixed implementation fee? What is the year two price for our firm, stated as an annual figure? And is that price guaranteed for any period, given the page promises no mid contract markups? If the year two answer comes in under the CasePeer figure for your headcount above, Jove wins on cost. If it comes in above, CasePeer's transparency and no contract terms are worth something too.
What neither price buys you
Both products are case management systems with intake screens attached. They give a trained intake specialist a structured place to enter the answers while on the phone, and both are good at it. Neither one answers the person who fills in your website form at 10 at night after a rear end collision, asks whether they have seen a doctor, and books them with an attorney before another firm calls back.
That front door conversation is the part we build. Consultations runs intake on your website at any hour: it asks the screening questions your firm defines, checks the answers against your criteria, flags edge cases for an attorney, collects photos or a police report on the Practice plan, and books the consultation, then hands the attorney a structured brief. It does not replace your case system; the completed intake exports into whichever one you choose. If you are comparing the two platforms because leads are going cold, read our GrowPath alternative and CasePeer alternative comparisons first, and see how minutes of delay turn into lost cases in our guide to speed to lead for law firms.
Our price is on the page. Solo is $49 a month for one attorney. Practice is $129 for up to five professionals, flat per firm, and adds document collection during intake. Firm is $299 for up to twenty and adds voice intake and advanced integrations. Pay monthly with no annual term, or yearly at half the monthly price. A five person firm pays $129 a month in total, against $650 for five CasePeer Pro seats, though the two products do different jobs and many firms will run one in front of the other.
If you are still weighing the full field, our CasePeer pricing breakdown covers every tier line by line, and we compared Jove against Lead Docket in Lead Docket vs GrowPath pricing. If CloudLex is the other platform on your shortlist, our CloudLex alternative page shows what it publishes and what each rival charges, and the SmartAdvocate alternative comparison does the same for SmartAdvocate's Cloud and Server versions. Once a case is signed and the research work begins, attorneys who want answers with citations can run legal research in plain English instead of building search strings.
Frequently asked questions
How much does CasePeer cost per user?
Read on 22 September 2026, CasePeer costs $90 per user per month for Basic, $130 for Pro and $160 for Advanced. The bill depends on the number of active users, with no long term contract or setup fee. Client intake starts on Pro, so the realistic price for a firm that needs intake is $130 per user.
How much does GrowPath cost now that it is Jove?
Jove publishes no price. Its pricing page states the first year is free apart from a single fixed implementation fee, that there are no per user fees, and that pricing depends on firm complexity rather than headcount. The year two figure comes from a custom quote, so ask for it as an annual number before you sign.
Is GrowPath the same as Jove?
Yes. GrowPath rebranded as Jove in January 2026, and growpath.com/pricing now redirects to jovelegal.com. The product is still a personal injury platform with intake, case management and reporting, sold in two tiers called Essentials and Elite. Older comparisons that price "GrowPath" are describing the same company.
Which is better for a small personal injury firm, Jove or CasePeer?
For a firm of three to five people that wants to budget precisely and avoid a contract, CasePeer's published per user price is easier to plan around. For a firm expecting to grow its team, Jove's no per user model and free first year can cost less over time. Get Jove's year two figure in writing, then compare it with the CasePeer table above.
