CasePeer Alternative for Personal Injury Firms and CasePeer Competitors by Price
Firms start looking for a CasePeer alternative at one of three points: a renewal after CasePeer raised its list prices during September 2026, a headcount change that multiplies a per user bill, or the realization that the intake tools they bought still depend on someone calling every lead back. This page sets out what CasePeer actually publishes, read from casepeer.com/pricing on 1 October 2026, where CasePeer remains the right buy, what each realistic competitor costs, and when the problem costing you signed cases is solved by a much smaller product.

In short
CasePeer, the personal injury case management platform owned by 8am (the parent of MyCase and LawPay), charges $90, $130 and $160 per user a month, read from its own pricing page on 1 October 2026, with no long term contract and no setup fee. Client intake management starts on Pro, so the honest intake floor is $130 per user, and on every tier a person still has to hold the conversation with the new lead. The closest rival with every price printed is 8am's own MyCase, at $60 to $150 per user. If the job you need done is screening and booking every new inquiry before another firm calls back, Consultations runs that conversation on your website from $49 a month, flat per firm.
CasePeer is a system of record for plaintiff firms: case and contact management, medical treatment tracking, liens, settlement negotiation, statute alerts, a client portal and, from Pro, intake management with unlimited two way texting. Consultations does one job at the front. It talks to the prospective client the moment they reach your website, asks your screening questions in plain conversation (date of the incident, treatment so far, liability, insurance, whether another firm is involved), checks the answers against your criteria, collects the documents the matter needs and books the consultation, then hands the attorney a structured brief. If you want one platform for every open file, CasePeer is built for that and prints its price. If cases slip because nobody reached the lead in time, that part can be fixed this week without changing case systems.

| Intake on the cheapest plan | Included on every plan | Basic has no intake management; it starts on Pro at $130 per user |
| Runs the intake conversation itself | Yes. An AI conversation screens every website inquiry at any hour | Intake forms, an intake portal and texting; staff or an integrated chat vendor hold the conversation |

Why pros pick Consultations
One AI conversation that qualifies, intakes, books, and briefs
An AI conversation, not a form
Instead of a static form or a calendar link, our AI talks with each lead in plain language, qualifies them against your criteria, and asks for exactly what you need to know.
The whole front door in one place
Qualify, intake, collect documents, book the paid appointment, and produce a prepped brief, all in a single conversation, so you stop stitching tools together.
You walk in prepared
Every booked meeting comes with a clean brief of who is coming and why, so you only take the right consultations and you are ready before the call starts.
Why firms look for a CasePeer alternative
Very few firms leave CasePeer because the case management is thin. It was built for plaintiff work from the start: medical treatment and injury tracking, lien and letter of protection tracking, a settlement calculator, automated statute alerts, case expense and client trust tracking, a client portal and unlimited document storage on every tier. Since March 2021 it has belonged to the same parent as MyCase, now called 8am, and it shares that company's LawPay payments and 8am IQ legal AI.
The first practical reason is price movement. On 3 September 2026 CasePeer listed $79, $119 and $149 per user a month. Read again on 22 September and on 1 October 2026, the same three tiers are $90, $130 and $160. That is $11 more per user on every tier, so a ten user firm on Pro now pays $1,300 a month instead of $1,190, about $1,320 more a year for the same software.
The second reason is what each seat buys. Client intake management, case stage screens and two way texting start on Pro, so a firm that bought Basic for its case management finds intake is an upgrade for every user on the account. The third reason decides revenue: a case system only helps once the lead is inside it, and a prospective client who fills in a form at 10 at night signs with whichever firm answers first.
- List prices rose $11 per user on every tier during September 2026
- Intake management starts on Pro, at $130 per user a month
- Billed per active user, so headcount multiplies the bill
- No long term contract and no setup fee, which makes switching cheap
- Directory figures of $79 and $39 per user are out of date
What CasePeer intake includes on each tier
Basic, at $90 per user, is case management without an intake module: contacts, tasks, calendaring, the client portal, statute alerts, settlement negotiation and medical treatment tracking. Lead and case source tracking, intake forms and the intake portal sit in the Intake and CRM block of the comparison table, which Basic does not carry.
Pro, at $130 per user, adds client intake management, unlimited two way texting that accepts images, case stage management, more than 50 additional reports, over 20 integrations and 8am IQ writing assistance. Advanced, at $160 per user, adds scheduled texts, data sync for reporting, a multi office reporting suite, an intake investigator portal, case grades and API access.
What none of the tiers describes is the software itself holding the first conversation with a prospective client. CasePeer's integration list includes Apex Chat, Ngage Live Chat, Captorra, Lead Docket and Alert Communications, which tells you how most CasePeer firms handle the website conversation: through another vendor, or through staff. Ask about that on the demo, and price the chat vendor as its own line.
- Basic $90: case management, portal, statute alerts, no intake module
- Pro $130: intake management, two way texting, 50+ reports, 20+ integrations
- Advanced $160: scheduled texts, intake investigator portal, case grades, API
- Website chat comes through integrations such as Apex Chat and Ngage
- Not described: the software screening and booking the lead itself
Where CasePeer is still the better buy
If your firm is a plaintiff practice with several people working files every day, CasePeer is one of the few personal injury platforms that prints every price, does not lock you into a long term contract and does not charge a setup fee. That combination is rarer than it should be: Filevine, Litify, SmartAdvocate and CloudLex all route pricing to a quote, and Neos prints only its entry tier.
It also fits a firm already in the 8am family. If you take payments through LawPay or run some matters in MyCase, keeping personal injury files in CasePeer keeps billing, trust accounting and support under one vendor. Firms that want treatment, liens, settlement and case costs in one place, with support by phone, chat and email at no extra charge, get exactly that.
So this page does not argue that you should leave CasePeer. It argues that you should know which job you are paying it for per seat, and whether the job losing you signed cases is a smaller one you can fix without a migration.
- Plaintiff firms with several users working files daily
- Firms that want every price printed and no long term contract
- Firms already using LawPay or MyCase from 8am
- Firms that want treatment, liens and settlement in one system
- Firms that value free phone, chat and email support
CasePeer competitors, by the job you are replacing
MyCase is the obvious comparison because 8am sells both. Read on 1 October 2026, MyCase charges $60, $120 and $150 per user a month billed monthly, or $50, $100 and $130 billed yearly. Intake forms and a legal CRM start on MyCase Pro, and conflict check tracking sits on Advanced. It is a general practice tool, so it lacks CasePeer's treatment, lien and settlement depth, but for a firm that does personal injury alongside other work it costs less per seat.
Neos from Assembly Software is the other plaintiff platform with a printed price, $109 per user a month billed yearly on Essentials, for firms with three or more users; its automated intake is on Platinum, which has no price. Filevine, Litify, SmartAdvocate and CloudLex are quote only, and Jove, formerly GrowPath, publishes no figure but states the first year is free apart from a fixed implementation fee.
If what you really want to replace is the intake layer, the usual names are Lead Docket, Law Ruler and Lawmatics, all quote only, and the chat vendors CasePeer integrates with. None of them, and none of the case platforms apart from the voice agents inside SmartAdvocate, Litify and CloudLex, runs the whole screening conversation and books the consultation on your website. If the bottleneck is response time, or inquiries arrive after everyone has gone home, the alternative is a different kind of product.
- Same parent, general practice: MyCase, $120 per user for intake forms and CRM
- Plaintiff platform with a printed entry price: Neos, $109 per user yearly
- Quote only platforms: Filevine, Litify, SmartAdvocate, CloudLex
- Free first year minus implementation: Jove
- The website conversation itself, at any hour: an AI intake agent from $49 a month
Running Consultations with CasePeer, or instead of it
The most common setup keeps CasePeer for every signed case and puts Consultations at the front door of the website. The prospective client talks to the intake conversation, answers the screening questions your firm defines, uploads photos, a police report or an insurance card, and books a consultation if they fit. The completed intake, answers and documents included, exports into CasePeer, where your intake team takes over. That lets a Basic firm screen and book web leads without moving every seat to Pro for the intake module alone.
Choosing Consultations instead of CasePeer makes sense for a smaller firm that went shopping mainly to stop losing inquiries and already has somewhere to keep its files. Solo is $49 a month for one attorney. Practice, at $129 for up to five professionals, adds document collection during intake and qualification rules per practice area. Firm, at $299 for up to twenty, adds voice intake alongside chat and advanced integrations. All three are flat per firm, with no implementation fee.
Every plan is paid by card, monthly with no annual term or once a year at half the monthly price: $288, $768 or $1,788. You can run the intake conversation at the top of this page right now and see exactly what a prospective client sees.
- Alongside CasePeer: web intake runs first, the record exports to your case system
- Keeps a Basic firm off Pro seats for intake alone
- Instead of CasePeer, if the conversation was the job: from $49 a month
- No per user charge and no implementation fee
- Live the same day, with your own screening questions

CasePeer figures are its monthly per user list prices; the page shows no annual price. Its pricing page still carries older $39, $79 and $99 figures in hidden structured data, and directories quote a $79 entry price, but the visible prices on 1 October 2026 are $90, $130 and $160. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm with the vendor before you sign.

What buyers ask about CasePeer alternatives
What is the best alternative to CasePeer?
It depends on the job. For general practice software from the same parent company, MyCase, at $120 per user a month for the tier with intake forms. For another plaintiff platform with a printed price, Neos. If web leads wait too long for a person to screen them, Consultations runs the intake conversation itself, from $49 a month flat.
How much does CasePeer cost per user?
CasePeer is $90 per user a month on Basic, $130 on Pro and $160 on Advanced, read from casepeer.com/pricing on 1 October 2026. Your bill is the tier rate times the number of active users, with no long term contract or setup fee. Intake management starts on Pro, so a five user firm that needs intake pays $650 a month.
Who are CasePeer competitors?
CasePeer competes with personal injury platforms such as Filevine, Neos, SmartAdvocate, CloudLex, Litify and Jove (formerly GrowPath), and with general practice tools such as MyCase and Clio. For intake specifically, it competes with Lead Docket, Law Ruler and Lawmatics. Of the plaintiff platforms, CasePeer and Neos are the two that print a price.
Is CasePeer owned by MyCase?
CasePeer and MyCase are sister products under the same parent company, 8am, formerly AffiniPay, which also owns LawPay. CasePeer joined MyCase in March 2021. The two are still sold as separate products with separate pricing: CasePeer for personal injury firms, MyCase for general practice.
Does CasePeer have client intake?
Yes, from the Pro tier. Pro at $130 per user a month adds client intake management, intake forms, an intake portal and unlimited two way texting; Advanced adds an intake investigator portal and scheduled texts. Basic has no intake module. On every tier, a person or an integrated chat vendor holds the first conversation with the lead.
Did CasePeer raise its prices?
Yes. CasePeer listed $79, $119 and $149 per user a month on 3 September 2026, and $90, $130 and $160 when read on 22 September and again on 1 October 2026. That is an $11 per user increase on every tier, or $1,320 a year for a ten user firm on Pro.
