MyCase pricing 2026: MyCase cost per user, pricing plans and tiers compared
This is an independent breakdown of what MyCase charges, written by Consultations. We are not MyCase, we do not resell it, and we compete with part of what it does. Every figure below was read directly off MyCase own pricing page on 14 August 2026 and checked twice against the raw page rather than taken from a review directory.
That last detail turned out to matter more than usual. Searching for MyCase pricing today returns page after page listing $39, $89 and $109 per user per month. MyCase own page lists $50, $100 and $130 on the same annual billing. The republished figures are a full price card behind, which means a firm budgeting from them will be wrong by roughly 12 to 28 percent depending on the tier.
The other thing a price card does not tell you is which plan you actually have to buy. MyCase publishes its tiers in full, which is more than most of this category does, but the feature you are shopping for decides your price far more than the headline does. Client intake sits on the middle plan. Conflict checking sits on the top one. Consultations is priced flat per firm at $49 to $299 a month, so treat our view of per user billing as the commercial position it is, and check the arithmetic below against your own headcount.

In short
Last updated August 2026
MyCase pricing, read from MyCase own pricing page on 14 August 2026, is $60 per user per month for MyCase Basic, $120 for MyCase Pro and $150 for MyCase Advanced, or $50, $100 and $130 per user per month on annual billing. Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM start on Pro, and Conflict Check Tracking appears on Advanced only, so a firm buying MyCase for intake is priced at $100 per user per month annual rather than the $50 entry figure. MyCase Accounting is a further $39 per user per month, and LawPay payments carry no monthly fee. One thing worth knowing before you compare quotes: a large number of third party pricing pages still publish $39, $89 and $109 per user, which is a previous MyCase price card and is not what MyCase publishes today.

Intake only · never advice
Why it works
What to know before you buy MyCase
Three tiers, published in full
MyCase is one of the few legal platforms that still publishes every plan price. Read 14 August 2026: $60, $120 and $150 per user per month, or $50, $100 and $130 annual.
Intake is on the middle plan
Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM start on MyCase Pro. If intake is why you are buying, your real entry price is $100 per user per month annual, not $50.
The internet price is stale
Many third party pages still list $39, $89 and $109 per user. Those figures are not on MyCase pricing page today. Budget from the vendor, not from a roundup.

What MyCase costs in 2026, plan by plan
MyCase sells three plans and prices all of them openly, which is worth acknowledging up front because most of its competitors do not. Read on 14 August 2026, MyCase Basic is $60 per user per month billed monthly or $50 billed annually. MyCase Pro is $120 monthly or $100 annually. MyCase Advanced is $150 monthly or $130 annually. Every figure is per user, per month, and MyCase states there is no setup fee and no long term contract.
The annual discount is modest and slightly uneven. MyCase describes it as saving up to 16 percent, and the page shows a saving of $120 a year on Basic and $240 a year on both Pro and Advanced. Run those back and the annual commitment saves you $10 per user per month on Basic and $20 per user per month on the two higher plans, so the discount is worth proportionally less the further up the range you go: 16.7 percent off Basic and Pro, but 13.3 percent off Advanced.
What each plan contains follows the usual shape. Basic covers case and contact management, time entry, invoicing and trust accounting, online payments, reporting, unlimited document storage, and a client portal MyCase itself labels as limited. Pro adds unlimited eSignature and document generation, automated workflows, Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM, two way texting and call logging, premium billing and reporting, the 8am IQ writing and document assistants, and access to more than seventy integrations. Advanced adds the 8am IQ Case and Discovery assistants, advanced document automation, a desktop drive for PC and Mac, Conflict Check Tracking, split billing and an open API.
MyCase offers a free trial with no credit card required. That is genuinely useful for testing the intake forms before committing a firm to a per seat contract, and it is the fastest way to confirm the feature gating described below applies to your account rather than taking our word or a comparison article for it.
- MyCase Basic: $60 per user monthly, $50 annual
- MyCase Pro: $120 per user monthly, $100 annual
- MyCase Advanced: $150 per user monthly, $130 annual
- No setup fee and no long term contract, per MyCase
- Annual billing saves $120 a year on Basic, $240 on Pro and Advanced
- Free trial available with no credit card required
Which MyCase plan includes client intake
This is the question that decides your bill, and the headline price does not answer it. Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM are listed under MyCase Pro. They are not in Basic. So a firm shopping for MyCase specifically because it wants to capture and qualify inquiries is not buying the $50 plan, it is buying the $100 one, and the effective entry price for intake is double the number in most comparison tables.
Conflict Check Tracking sits one tier higher again, on MyCase Advanced at $130 per user per month annual or $150 monthly. That is a professional responsibility function, not a convenience feature, and it is on the most expensive of three plans at two and a half times the monthly entry price. Firms that assume a conflict search is table stakes in legal software should price that assumption before they sign.
The pattern is not unique to MyCase. PracticePanther puts Intake Forms on its Business plan at $99 per user monthly or $89 annual, against a $59 monthly Solo entry. Clio includes Clio Grow in Elite and Elite Work and sells it as an add-on for Core and Signature, but not for Starter, and it does not publish a price for any individual plan or for the add-on. Across the category, the tier that turns intake on runs roughly double the advertised starting figure, which makes entry price comparisons between vendors close to meaningless unless you compare the plan you would actually buy.
The practical move is to write down the two or three features you are buying the software for, find the cheapest plan at each vendor that lists all of them, and compare only those numbers. For a firm that needs intake and conflict checking together, MyCase Advanced at $130 per user per month annual is the plan to price, not Basic at $50.
- Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM start on MyCase Pro
- Conflict Check Tracking is listed on MyCase Advanced only
- Intake plus conflict checking means Advanced, $130 per user annual
- PracticePanther gates intake the same way, on Business at $89 annual
- Compare the plan that includes your features, not the entry sticker
The MyCase price most articles publish is a price card out of date
Search for MyCase pricing and the figures that come back most often are $39, $89 and $109 per user per month on annual billing, or $49, $99 and $119 monthly. Several dedicated pricing pages, including ones with 2026 in the title, publish that set. It is not what MyCase publishes. Reading MyCase own pricing page on 14 August 2026, and confirming it a second time against the raw page source rather than a proxy, the figures are $50, $100 and $130 annual and $60, $120 and $150 monthly.
The gap is large enough to break a budget. On annual billing, Basic is 28 percent higher than the republished figure, Pro is 12 percent higher and Advanced is 19 percent higher. A ten person firm budgeting MyCase Pro from a stale roundup would plan for $10,680 a year and be invoiced $12,000. We cannot date exactly when MyCase moved, and we are not going to guess, so we state only what we can verify: the old set is not on the vendor page today and the new set is.
This is the second time in a month we have found the same failure mode in this category. Clio renamed its entire plan lineup to Starter, Core, Signature and Elite, and a great many current articles still describe EasyStart, Essentials, Advanced and Complete. In both cases the article was written once, ranked, and was never re-checked against the source. It is a fast credibility test you can run yourself in about thirty seconds: open the vendor pricing page in one tab and the comparison article in another, and see whether the plan names and figures match.
The general lesson for anyone buying software in this category is simple enough. Use comparison pages, including this one, to understand structure, gating and what questions to ask. Take the actual number from the vendor, on the day you are budgeting. Prices in legal software move, and pages that rank do not necessarily get updated when they do.
- Widely republished: $39, $89 and $109 per user annual
- On MyCase own page, 14 August 2026: $50, $100 and $130 annual
- The stale set understates the real annual price by 12 to 28 percent
- Same failure mode as the Clio plan rename that most articles missed
- Verify the number on the vendor page on the day you budget
What a MyCase subscription actually costs your firm
Per user pricing is quoted for one seat and paid for all of them, and the difference between those two numbers is where budgets go wrong. MyCase Pro at $100 per user per month on annual billing is $1,200 a year for a solo, $7,200 a year for a six person firm and $14,400 for twelve. On Advanced at $130 annual the same three firms pay $1,560, $9,360 and $18,720. Nothing about the intake workload changed between those columns. The firm hired people.
Count the seats honestly before you compare vendors, because this is routinely underestimated. Firms tend to count attorneys and forget that paralegals, an office manager, a bookkeeper and whoever actually answers the phone all need logins to be useful. A four attorney firm is frequently a seven or eight seat subscription, and on Pro that is the difference between $4,800 and $9,600 a year.
It is worth being straight about which direction this cuts. Per user billing scales with headcount. Per minute and per call billing, which is how answering services price, scales with marketing spend. Flat per firm billing, which is how we price, scales with neither. None of those is automatically better. If you are a two person firm, per user pricing is genuinely cheaper than our flat plans and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. The arithmetic turns somewhere around four or five seats, and it turns harder the faster you hire.
The question worth asking is which axis your costs should track. Inquiry volume is set by your marketing, your referral sources and your reputation. It is not set by how many lawyers you employ, and the two numbers move independently. A firm that doubles its advertising pays nothing extra for intake on a per user plan; a firm that hires two associates pays more for intake even if lead volume never moves at all.
- MyCase Pro annual: $1,200 solo, $7,200 at six seats, $14,400 at twelve
- MyCase Advanced annual: $1,560 solo, $9,360 at six, $18,720 at twelve
- Count paralegals, admin and billing staff as seats, not just attorneys
- Below roughly four seats, per user billing beats our flat plans
- Inquiry volume tracks marketing, not attorney headcount
What is not in the MyCase sticker price
MyCase Accounting is the largest add on, at $39 per user per month on top of whatever plan you are on. It covers three way trust reconciliation and general ledger work that firms otherwise handle in separate accounting software. For a six seat firm that is a further $2,808 a year, so a six person firm on Pro with accounting is closer to $10,000 annually than to the $7,200 the plan price implies.
LawPay payments carry no monthly fee, which MyCase publishes as $0. Card and eCheck processing rates are charged per transaction and MyCase does not publish those rates on the pricing page, so ask for them in writing. Payment processing is a real cost line for a firm collecting fees electronically and it is invisible in every plan comparison.
The AI tools have their own metering on the top plan. The 8am IQ Discovery Assistant, the OCR tool for document discovery on Advanced, includes 5,000 pages per user each month pooled across the firm, and MyCase sells a further 5,000 pages for the firm as a whole at $30. Those extra pages expire at the end of the subscription period rather than rolling over, which is the same no rollover pattern we found in Lawmatics credit pricing.
The client portal deserves a note because it is a common search on its own. MyCase does not price the portal separately. It is included in every plan, but Basic lists it as a limited portal, so the full portal experience is part of what you are buying when you move up to Pro rather than a line item you can add.
- MyCase Accounting: $39 per user per month on top of the plan
- LawPay: no monthly fee, but processing rates are not published
- 8am IQ Discovery Assistant: 5,000 pages per user, extra 5,000 for $30
- Extra AI pages expire at period end and do not roll over
- The client portal is included on all plans, limited on Basic
Where MyCase fits, and where it does not
MyCase is a practice management platform first. It owns the part of the client lifecycle that starts once someone has signed: matters, documents, time, billing, trust accounting and the client portal. The intake and CRM features on Pro are a real product, but they are a module inside a system whose center of gravity is post engagement work. For a firm that wants one platform running everything after the engagement letter and does not want to buy a second tool, that integration is a genuine advantage and the published price card is a refreshing change from a category that mostly hides its numbers.
Where it fits less well is the part of intake that happens before any of that. MyCase intake is forms and pipeline software. It does not answer the phone, it does not ask follow up questions when a caller gives a vague answer, and it does not chase the documents. Somebody at the firm still does those things, which is why firms that buy practice management for intake often find they have bought a place to record intake rather than something that performs it.
That gap is the part we work on. Consultations runs the discovery conversation itself: the AI asks your qualifying questions, screens the inquiry against criteria you set, collects the documents, books the paid consultation and hands the lawyer a prepared brief. It is priced flat per firm at $49 to $299 a month, so the bill does not move when you hire. We do not do matters, billing, trust accounting or conflict searching, and we are not a substitute for a practice management platform. Most firms that use both keep MyCase for everything after the signature and put us in front of it.
If you are choosing between them rather than combining them, the honest test is where your problem actually is. If inquiries are being captured fine and the mess is in matters and billing, buy practice management. If the phone goes unanswered, leads wait days for a callback and half the consultations start with questions the firm should already have asked, the problem is upstream of anything a matter database fixes.
- MyCase strength: one platform for everything after the engagement letter
- MyCase publishes every tier, which most legal vendors no longer do
- MyCase intake records the inquiry; it does not run the conversation
- Consultations runs the conversation and hands over a prepped brief
- We do not do matters, billing, trust accounting or conflict searching

MyCase pricing plans compared, read from MyCase own pricing page on 14 August 2026
Every price below was read off MyCase pricing page on 14 August 2026 and confirmed against the raw page source. The six seat column multiplies the annual per user rate by six users over twelve months, which is the number most firms should be comparing rather than the single seat price.
| Plan | Monthly per user | Annual per user | What it adds | Six seats, one year at the annual rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| MyCase Basic | $60 | $50 | Case and contact management, time entry, invoicing, trust accounting, online payments, unlimited storage, limited client portal | $3,600 |
| MyCase Pro | $120 | $100 | Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM, unlimited eSignature, document generation, automated workflows, 2 way texting, 70+ integrations | $7,200 |
| MyCase Advanced | $150 | $130 | Conflict Check Tracking, 8am IQ Case and Discovery assistants, advanced document automation, desktop drive, split billing, open API | $9,360 |
| MyCase Accounting add on | $39 | Not separately stated | Three way trust reconciliation and general ledger, added on top of any plan | $2,808 |
| LawPay payments | $0 | $0 | No monthly fee. Per transaction processing rates are not published on the pricing page | $0 in fees, processing extra |
| Widely republished figures | $49, $99, $119 | $39, $89, $109 | Not on MyCase pricing page as read on 14 August 2026. Treat as a previous price card | Understates the real bill |
MyCase states no setup fee and no long term contract, and offers a free trial without a credit card. Consultations is not affiliated with MyCase, 8am or AffiniPay. We compete with the intake portion of what MyCase sells and we are priced flat per firm at $49 to $299 a month, which is a commercial position you should weigh when reading our comparison. Prices change: confirm the current figure on the vendor page before you sign anything.

MyCase pricing: the questions buyers actually search
How much does MyCase cost?
MyCase costs $60 per user per month for Basic, $120 for Pro and $150 for Advanced on monthly billing, or $50, $100 and $130 per user per month on annual billing, read from MyCase pricing page on 14 August 2026. MyCase states there is no setup fee and no long term contract. MyCase Accounting is a further $39 per user per month if you want trust reconciliation and general ledger.
How much does MyCase cost per month?
Billed monthly, MyCase is $60 per user per month on Basic, $120 on Pro and $150 on Advanced. Billed annually the same plans work out at $50, $100 and $130 per user per month, saving $120 a year on Basic and $240 a year on Pro and Advanced. Every figure is per user, so multiply by your seat count, including paralegals and administrative staff.
What are the MyCase pricing tiers?
There are three: MyCase Basic, MyCase Pro and MyCase Advanced. Basic covers case management, billing and trust accounting. Pro adds Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM, eSignature, automated workflows and two way texting. Advanced adds Conflict Check Tracking, the 8am IQ Case and Discovery assistants, advanced document automation, split billing and an open API. MyCase Accounting and LawPay sit outside the three plans as add ons.
Does MyCase have client intake?
Yes, but not on the entry plan. Client Intake Forms and Legal CRM are listed under MyCase Pro, at $120 per user per month monthly or $100 annual, so intake is not included in MyCase Basic at $50. MyCase intake is form and pipeline software: it captures and tracks inquiries rather than conducting the conversation, so somebody at the firm still asks the follow up questions and chases documents.
How much is the MyCase client portal?
MyCase does not price the client portal separately. It is included on every plan, but MyCase describes the portal on Basic as limited, so the fuller portal comes as part of moving up to Pro at $100 per user per month annual rather than as an add on you can buy on its own. There is no published standalone portal price to compare.
How much is MyCase Accounting?
MyCase Accounting is $39 per user per month, charged on top of your base plan rather than instead of it. It covers three way trust reconciliations and general ledger work. For a six seat firm it adds $2,808 a year, so a six person firm on MyCase Pro with accounting runs close to $10,000 a year rather than the $7,200 the plan price alone suggests.
