Dubsado does not publish a monthly price. Read from Dubsado's own pricing page on 17 September 2026, the only plan figures anywhere on it are $335 a year for Starter and $525 a year for Premier. The words "per month" do not appear against either plan. The per month numbers you will find in most comparison articles are not on the vendor page, so the figure you can actually budget is a yearly one: $335 or $525, charged up front. And if you need the plan that can book a consultation, it is Premier, which works out at $43.75 a month equivalent.

That gap between what Dubsado publishes and what gets republished about it is the reason this page exists. If you are pricing Dubsado against Dubsado alternatives for coaches and consultants, start from the page itself rather than from a listicle.

What Dubsado actually publishes

The pricing page is a large document, a little over 400 kilobytes of markup, and it contains exactly four kinds of dollar figure. Here is all of it.

What it isPublished figureNotes from the page
Starter plan$335/yrNo monthly rate shown
Premier plan$525/yrNo monthly rate shown
Additional brand$10/mo eachFor running separate brands in one account
Additional users$25/mo at 4 to 10, $45/mo at 11 to 20, $60/mo at 21 to 30Three additional users are included free. 30 plus is handled by email

Two more things are stated on the page and worth writing down. The free trial lasts 21 days with full, unlimited access to Premier. And choosing annual, in Dubsado's own words, gets you "2 months worth of savings", which tells you a monthly option exists somewhere even though the rate for it is not displayed.

Why so many articles say $35 and $55 a month

Search for Dubsado pricing and you will be told, confidently and repeatedly, that it costs $35 a month for Starter and $55 for Premier. Those figures appear across review directories and competitor blogs. They are not on Dubsado's pricing page.

They are not obviously wrong, either, which is what makes this awkward. Work backwards from the "2 months worth of savings" line and you get an implied monthly rate somewhere around $33.50 and $52.50, which is close enough to $35 and $55 that the circulating numbers are probably in the right neighborhood. But probably is not a budget. We read the page, we record what it displays, and we do not restate a price the vendor does not show. If a comparison article is willing to publish a figure it cannot point at, treat the rest of its numbers the same way.

There is a second reason to be careful here: Dubsado has changed this page recently. Monthly figures were visible on it in late August 2026 and are not visible now. A price you read six months ago in someone else's article may have been true when they wrote it and false since.

Does Dubsado have scheduling, and what does that do to the price?

Scheduling is a Premier feature. Dubsado Starter does not include it. That single line changes the answer to "how much does Dubsado cost" more than any discount does, because most people shopping for client management software are shopping for the thing that turns an inquiry into a booked call.

Starter, as listed on 17 September 2026, gives you email integration, unlimited projects and clients, invoicing and payment plans, form and email templates, client portals, a calendar connection, support and the mobile app, plus exactly one active lead capture form. What it does not give you is scheduling, automated workflows, public proposals, the Zapier integration or the bookkeeping integration.

So if your shortlist assumed "Dubsado starts at $335", the honest version is that Dubsado starts at $335 for a system that cannot book an appointment and can run one lead form. The plan that does what you are shopping for is $525.

This is not unique to Dubsado, which is the genuinely useful thing to know before you compare anything. HoneyBook does the same: its $29 Starter plan has no Scheduler, and the Scheduler first appears on Essentials at $49 a month billed yearly. We put all three side by side in our HoneyBook vs Dubsado vs Paperbell pricing comparison. In this market, the advertised tier is reliably not the tier that includes the feature you came for.

The costs that are not in the headline

Dubsado's add-on pricing is published plainly, which is more than several competitors manage, but it is not in the number you remember. Three additional users are free. The fourth user puts you in the 4 to 10 band at $25 a month. Crossing ten takes you to $45, and crossing twenty to $60. Each additional brand is $10 a month.

Work an example. A three person consultancy on Premier pays $525 a year and nothing more, which is genuinely good value at roughly $175 per person per year. Grow to five people and add a second brand and you are at $525 plus $25 a month plus $10 a month, so $945 across the year. Nothing about that is unfair, and all of it is disclosed. It is simply not the figure anyone quotes.

Software charges like these have a habit of disappearing into a card statement, especially the annual ones that surface once and then sit quiet for eleven months. If you are running a practice on a handful of subscriptions, it is worth having something that categorizes every renewal as it lands rather than reconstructing it at tax time.

What Dubsado costs over a year, worked through

SetupYearly costMonthly equivalent
Solo, Starter, no scheduling$335$27.92
Solo, Premier, scheduling included$525$43.75
Four people, Premier$525 plus $300$68.75
Five people, Premier, two brands$525 plus $300 plus $120$78.75
Twelve people, Premier$525 plus $540$88.75

The monthly equivalents are arithmetic on the published annual figure, not rates Dubsado offers. You pay the plan portion as a single yearly charge.

How Dubsado compares on price

Against the two tools consultants and coaches most often weigh it against, read on the same day: HoneyBook sells Starter at $29 a month billed yearly with no Scheduler, Essentials at $49 with the Scheduler, and Premium at $109. Paperbell, re-read on 13 October 2026 after a rise from $57, sells a single plan at $97 a month or $970 a year with scheduling included and no transaction fees of its own, behind a 30 day money back guarantee.

Line the bookable plans up and Dubsado Premier at $43.75 a month equivalent sits close to HoneyBook Essentials at $49, with Paperbell well above at $97 since its October price rise. The differences that should decide it are the commitment shape and the team math. Dubsado wants a year up front and then charges by user band. HoneyBook caps team members by tier. Paperbell has one plan and no bands at all, and if you are a coach weighing that single plan, the best client intake software for coaches compares it with Plutio, CoachAccountable and Simply.Coach on published prices.

Is Dubsado worth it?

If you need contracts, proposals, invoicing and payment plans living in the same place as your client work, Premier at $525 is a fair price for a lot of software, and the 21 day trial is long enough to find out properly. Dubsado is genuinely strong at the back office, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.

The case against is narrower and worth naming. Every plan here, Dubsado's included, puts a form at the front of your business. A form asks your qualifying questions and files the answers, and then the appointment gets booked regardless of what those answers said. You find out on the call that the budget was never there. Nothing on any of these price lists fixes that, because none of them screen anybody.

That is the part we build. Client intake software for consultants that runs the qualifying conversation itself, collects the documents you need to prepare, and offers times only to people whose answers match your criteria, so the unfit inquiries get a straight answer instead of a slot on your calendar. Solo is $49 a month, Practice is $129 for up to five professionals and Firm is $299 for up to twenty, priced per firm rather than per seat and paid by card. Paid once a year, Solo is $288, which is $237 less than Dubsado Premier's $525 and includes the booking step that Dubsado Starter leaves out. You can try the intake conversation at the top of this page before deciding anything.

Whichever way you go, price the plan that can actually book the call, not the one at the top of the pricing page.
