CoachAccountable costs $20 a month for 2 active clients, $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20, $250 for 50 and $400 for 100, rising to $4,000 a month for 1,000 clients. You pay only for clients you are actively coaching, every feature is on every level, and coach and administrator accounts are unlimited at no extra cost. Below about 8 clients it is one of the cheapest coaching platforms you can buy. Above that, flat priced tools such as Simply.Coach cost less, and past 20 clients Paperbell does too. And none of them decides which prospects deserve a discovery call, which is the job Consultations does from $49 a month.

CoachAccountable figures come from coachaccountable.com/pricing and its feature tour, read on 5 October 2026. Simply.Coach was read on 2 October, Plutio on 30 September, HoneyBook on 29 September and Paperbell, re-read, on 13 October 2026. We sell one of the tools compared below, so weigh our placement with that in mind. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm before you sign.

CoachAccountable pricing by level

CoachAccountable sells one plan and prices it by how many active clients you have. The pricing page lists 24 levels. These are the ones most independent coaches and small coaching teams land on:

LevelActive clientsPrice per monthCost per client
Starter2$20$10.00
Level 15$40$8.00
Level 210$70$7.00
Level 320$120$6.00
Level 3.535$200$5.71
Level 450$250$5.00
Level 4.575$340$4.53
Level 5100$400$4.00
Level 6200$800$4.00
Level 81,000$4,000$4.00

The per client rate falls from $10 to $4 as you grow and then stays at $4 from 100 clients up. The page shows monthly prices only. There is no annual plan and no annual discount listed, and the FAQ says CoachAccountable has never offered special discounts for nonprofits, schools or anyone else since 2012. There are no setup fees, no cancellation fees and no add ons.

How much does CoachAccountable cost per month?

For a typical independent coach, CoachAccountable costs $40 to $120 a month. A coach with 5 active clients pays $40, with 10 pays $70 and with 20 pays $120. The bill moves with your roster, so a coach whose client count swings between 8 and 14 across the year moves between levels rather than paying for capacity they are not using.

That is the real advantage of the model. You can deactivate a client when an engagement ends and reactivate them later with their full history intact, and inactive clients can still open their records. A coach who runs 12 week programs in cohorts pays for the cohort while it runs, not for every person who has ever been a client.

What counts as an active client in CoachAccountable?

An active client is anyone you have set up on the platform and are currently coaching. CoachAccountable's FAQ is explicit about groups: each person set up on the platform needs a separate account and is a separate client. Coaching a couple counts as two clients. Coaching six managers at one company counts as six.

This is where group and corporate coaches get surprised. A coach running two 8 person mastermind groups alongside 10 one to one clients has 26 active clients, which lands on Level 3.5 at $200 a month rather than Level 2 at $70. If you run assessments or check ins for a whole leadership team, budget by headcount, not by engagement.

It also matters for prospects. CoachAccountable can sell packaged coaching from your own website, including scheduling, intake forms and payment. Before you send every discovery call prospect through the platform, check how those accounts count toward your level, because the pricing is built around people with accounts.

What you get on every CoachAccountable plan

Every level includes the full system, which CoachAccountable states plainly on its pricing page: complete and fully featured on every plan. From its feature tour, that covers:

  • Scheduling, either you booking clients or clients booking you, with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple iCal sync and reminders for both sides.
  • Worksheets for intake paperwork, check ins and exercises, including automated pre session and post session forms.
  • One time and recurring invoices paid through your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, with automatic recurring billing and an unpaid invoice lockout.
  • Agreements with places to initial and sign, which CoachAccountable positions as a replacement for a separate document signing service.
  • Offerings, which package your coaching so a new client can buy it from your website, schedule, fill in intake and pay in one flow.
  • Unlimited coach and administrator accounts, so a coaching firm pays by client count, not by coach.

There is a 30 day free trial with no credit card and no limits during the trial, and you can switch levels at any time.

CoachAccountable compared with other coaching platforms

ToolPublished priceWhat the price is based onCost at 10 clientsCost at 25 clients
CoachAccountable$20 to $4,000 a monthActive clients; coach seats free$70$200 (Level 3.5)
Paperbell$97 a month, or $970 a yearOne plan, unlimited clients$97$97
Simply.Coach Growth$59 a month, or $49 billed yearlyUp to 30 people coached$59 (Essentials covers 7)$59
Plutio Pro$49 a monthUnlimited active clients$49$49
HoneyBook Essentials$49 a month billed yearlyCheapest plan with the Scheduler$49$49
Consultations Solo$49 a month, or $288 a year1 professional, flat, no per client charge$49$49

The crossover sits at around 7 or 8 clients for the cheaper flat plans and between 10 and 20 clients for Paperbell, which raised its single plan from $57 to $97 in October 2026. At 5 clients, CoachAccountable's $40 beats every flat priced tool above. At 10 clients it costs $70, less than Paperbell at $97 but more than Simply.Coach Growth at $59 on monthly billing. At 20 clients it is $120, above both. At 25 clients the gap is wide: $200 against $97 to $59. A coach planning to grow past 20 active clients pays more on CoachAccountable than on any of the flat plans.

The other platforms are not like for like, though. Paperbell is built around selling packages and includes a simple coaching website; our Paperbell alternative page prices that field in full. Simply.Coach caps people coached per plan and limits contracts on the smaller ones, which we set out in our Simply.Coach pricing breakdown. CoachAccountable's strength is depth of accountability tooling: worksheets, metrics, action plans and progress tracking that clients interact with between sessions.

Is CoachAccountable worth the price?

CoachAccountable is worth it if you run structured, between session work with clients and keep a small or seasonal roster. A coach with 5 premium clients paying $40 a month gets scheduling, invoicing, agreements and worksheets for less than any flat plan. It also suits coaching firms with many coaches and a moderate client base, because coach seats cost nothing.

It gets expensive for high volume, lower price coaching. A group or corporate coach with 50 active participants pays $250 a month, five times what a flat priced platform charges. We price the flat options at 10, 25 and 50 clients in our comparison of CoachAccountable alternatives. Executive coaches who open each engagement with an organizational assessment of culture and process should count every participant who needs a login, not just the sponsor.

CoachAccountable's own FAQ makes the case that its bill is under 3 percent of what most coaches charge. For a coach billing $500 a month per client, $7 per client is 1.4 percent, so the argument holds. Where it holds less well is time. None of these platforms reduces the hours you spend on discovery calls with people who were never going to buy.

What CoachAccountable does not fix, and what does

A booking page puts a call on your calendar. It does not decide whether that prospect should get the call. A coach who spends six or eight hours a week on discovery calls, half of them with people who cannot afford the package or want something you do not offer, spends those hours on any coaching platform.

That gap is the one we built Consultations for. A prospect who clicks "book a call" talks to an intake conversation first. It asks your qualifying questions in plain language (what they want to change, their timeline, their budget range, whether they have worked with a coach before), checks the answers against the clients you take, and only then offers a slot on your calendar. You get a short brief before every call, and prospects who do not fit get a polite answer instead of 30 minutes of your week. Screened prospects never become active clients in your coaching platform until they actually sign.

It sits in front of CoachAccountable rather than replacing it. You keep CoachAccountable for worksheets, sessions and invoicing once someone signs. Solo is $49 a month for one professional, or $288 a year, with no per client charge. Our client intake software for consultants and coaches page shows the setup, our shortlist of the best client intake software for coaches compares the wider field, and you can try the intake conversation at the top of this page right now.

Frequently asked questions about CoachAccountable pricing

Does CoachAccountable have a free trial?

Yes. CoachAccountable offers a 30 day free trial with no credit card required. The pricing page says there are no limits during the trial: you can add as many clients as you like, set up your branding and use every part of the system, and you can upgrade to any level at no charge while the trial runs.

Does CoachAccountable charge per coach?

No. Coach and administrator accounts are unlimited at no extra cost on every level. You pay only by the number of active clients, so a coaching company with ten coaches and 40 active clients pays $250 a month on Level 4, exactly what a solo coach with 40 clients pays.

Is there an annual plan or discount on CoachAccountable?

Not on the pricing page. Every level is shown as a monthly price, with no annual option and no discount for nonprofits, schools or pro bono coaching. The FAQ says CoachAccountable has offered a single pricing plan to everyone since 2012, so the listed rate is the rate.

Does CoachAccountable charge payment processing fees?

CoachAccountable says it takes no additional processing fees on invoices. Payments run through your own Stripe, Square or PayPal account, so you pay that processor's standard rate and nothing on top from CoachAccountable.
