Docketwise costs $80, $100 or $120 per user a month on yearly billing, and $90, $120 or $140 on monthly billing. That is Basic, Pro and Advanced, read from the Docketwise pricing page on 12 October 2026. Every plan is priced per user, and CRM and lead management start on Pro. So a three person immigration firm that wants to track web leads pays $300 a month on the yearly plan, or $360 month to month. Below is what each plan includes, what the directories get wrong, and what the bill looks like at real team sizes.

Docketwise figures come from its pricing page, read on 12 October 2026, including the plan cards and the full feature comparison table. MyCase was read on 5 October and PracticePanther on 2 October 2026. We sell one of the tools mentioned here, so weigh our view with that in mind. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm with each vendor before you sign.

Docketwise pricing per user, as published

The Docketwise pricing page has a Yearly and Monthly switch above three plan cards. Yearly is the first tab, and the page's own description repeats the yearly figures: starting at $80 for Basic, $100 for Pro and $120 for Advanced per month. All three are per user, and the headline promises unlimited cases.

PlanYearly billingMonthly billingWhat it adds
Basic$80 per user a month$90 per user a monthSmart forms, case management, multilingual questionnaires, case and priority date tracking, client portal
Pro$100 per user a month$120 per user a monthE-filing, e-signatures, HR portal, CRM and lead management, texting, QuickBooks, DocketWise IQ
Advanced$120 per user a month$140 per user a monthMultiple branches, permission groups, priority support, tailored setup, free data migration on annual

The gap between yearly and monthly widens as you go up: $10 per user on Basic, $20 on Pro and $20 on Advanced. Free data migration is listed for Advanced on an annual plan, which is worth asking about if you are leaving another system with years of case history.

Which Docketwise plan includes lead management?

Pro. Basic includes custom intakes and questionnaires, but those are for clients you have already taken on: the questionnaire fills their forms. The CRM, with website integration, lead reminders, status tracking and email templates, appears under Pro in the comparison table, along with text messaging and bulk messaging. Advanced includes everything in Pro.

This is the same pattern we keep finding across legal software. The plan that gets advertised is rarely the plan that holds the feature a firm came to buy. Moving three users from Basic to Pro for lead tracking costs $60 a month on yearly billing, or $720 a year, and the CRM still depends on someone at the firm answering each inquiry.

What Docketwise costs at real team sizes

Because the price is per user, the number that matters is your headcount, including paralegals and assistants who log in. Here is the monthly bill at three sizes:

Team sizeBasic, yearlyPro, yearlyPro, monthlyAdvanced, yearly
1 attorney$80$100$120$120
3 users$240$300$360$360
5 users$400$500$600$600
10 users$800$1,000$1,200$1,200

A ten person employment based practice on Pro with yearly billing pays $12,000 a year. That can be a fair price for a team that prepares petitions inside the system all day. It looks different for the person who only needs to see new leads and book consultations, because every login counts as a full seat.

Why the directory prices for Docketwise disagree

Search for Docketwise pricing and you will see at least three different ladders. One major review directory lists Basic at $69, Pro at $99 and Advanced at $119 per user. A pricing tracker lists $69, $109 and $119. Another directory uses different plan names altogether, with tiers from $49 to $89. None of them match the vendor page as read on 12 October 2026.

The likely explanation is that the directories captured older price lists and never updated them. Whatever the cause, budget from the vendor page, and if a sales rep quotes you a different number, ask for it in writing with the billing term attached.

What else to budget beyond the subscription

  • Payments. Docketwise lists a LawPay integration and invoicing with trust accounting. Card processing is billed by the payment processor, not included in the plan price.
  • Migration. Free data migration is listed only on Advanced with an annual plan. On Basic or Pro, ask whether migration is charged and how case history moves.
  • Signatures and notarization. E-signatures start on Pro. When a client's affidavit or declaration has to be notarized, many firms now book a remote online notary session instead of sending the client to a bank branch.
  • The front door. No plan lists online booking for prospective clients. If leads arrive at night or on weekends, budget for whatever answers and screens them.

Docketwise vs competitors on price

Among immigration specific platforms, only Docketwise and eImmigration print a price. eImmigration, read on 13 October 2026, charges $55, $82 and $100 per user a month billed yearly, with a lead pipeline on every plan and e-filing, texting and scheduling sold as premium feature slots; our Docketwise vs eImmigration pricing comparison works through both at five seats. LollyLaw's pricing address returns a missing page and its site offers a demo and a 7 day trial (we set it against Docketwise in Docketwise vs LollyLaw and price the field on our LollyLaw pricing and alternatives page), and INSZoom from Mitratech routes pricing through sales (see our INSZoom pricing and alternatives page).

MyCase is owned by the same parent company as Docketwise, so a firm weighing the two is choosing between immigration depth and a general suite, not between rival vendors. We priced MyCase against a personal injury platform in CasePeer vs MyCase pricing, and the same seat arithmetic applies here.

Is Docketwise worth the price?

For a practice that files family and employment based petitions every week, usually yes. Smart forms with reverse autofill, multilingual questionnaires that clients complete in their own language, priority date tracking and USCIS case status tracking save hours per case, and general suites do not match that depth. The per user price is the cost of that specialization.

Where the value gets weaker is the front of the funnel. Paying $20 more per user per month for a CRM makes sense if your team works leads all day. If the real problem is that inquiries wait overnight for a call back, a lead record does not fix it, because the person who submitted the form has already contacted two other firms.

A cheaper way to handle new immigration leads

Many firms keep Docketwise for forms and cases and put an intake agent on the website instead of upgrading for the CRM. Consultations answers each new inquiry the moment it arrives, asks the screening questions your firm sets for each case type, records the people involved, collects the documents you ask for and books the consultation on your calendar. The attorney gets a brief before the call, and the record exports so your team creates the case in Docketwise afterward.

For a three user firm, that can mean staying on Basic at $240 a month yearly and adding Solo at $49, for $289 instead of $300 for Pro, with every inquiry answered rather than logged. Practice, at $129 for up to five professionals, fits a team that shares consultations. Plans are flat per firm with no onboarding fee, and the full comparison is on our Docketwise alternative page. You can try the intake conversation at the top of this page now, and the plans are on the pricing page.

If you are also weighing a general practice suite that quotes on request, our breakdown of LEAP legal software pricing covers what to ask for when no number is printed.

Frequently asked questions about Docketwise pricing

How much does Docketwise cost?

Docketwise costs $80 per user a month for Basic, $100 for Pro and $120 for Advanced on yearly billing, read from its pricing page on 12 October 2026. On monthly billing the same plans are $90, $120 and $140 per user. There is no flat firm price; every user is a seat.

Does Docketwise charge per user?

Yes. All three Docketwise plans are priced per user per month, on both yearly and monthly billing. A firm with an attorney and two paralegals on Pro pays for three seats, $300 a month yearly or $360 monthly, so the bill grows with each person you add.

Is there a free version of Docketwise?

No. The pricing page shows three paid plans and no free tier. It offers a Try for Free button on Advanced and a Free Trial link in the header, without stating the trial length, and Schedule Demo on Basic and Pro.

Is Docketwise cheaper than Clio?

At the entry level, no. Clio publishes a starting price from $49 per user a month, below Docketwise Basic at $80. But Clio is a general practice suite rather than an immigration forms platform, and its intake product sits on higher plans, so compare the Clio plan that has the features you need against Docketwise Basic or Pro. Our Docketwise vs Clio pricing and CRM comparison does that for a five person firm.
