Rocket Matter costs $59 per user a month for Essentials, $95 for Pro, $115 for Premier and $145 for Elite, all paid annually. Intake forms are not in any of those plans. They come with the Rocket Matter CRM add-on, which is sold only on Pro and Premier at $39 per user a month billed yearly, plus a $399 one time onboarding fee and a 3 user minimum. So a firm that wants intake inside Rocket Matter pays at least $134 per user a month, and a solo attorney pays about $212. If the reason you are pricing intake is to stop losing website inquiries, Consultations screens and books them from $49 a month, flat per firm.

Rocket Matter figures come from rocketmatter.com/pricing, read on 6 October 2026. MyCase was read on 5 October and PracticePanther on 2 October 2026. Clio blocks automated reads, so its figure is the entry price it published in August 2026. We sell one of the tools compared below, so weigh our placement with that in mind. Vendors change prices without notice, so confirm before you sign.

Rocket Matter pricing by plan

Rocket Matter, part of ProfitSolv, sells four practice management plans priced per user. The plan table shows annual billing only:

PlanPer user a month, paid annuallyPer user a yearWhat it adds
Essentials$59$708Time, billing, trust accounting, Rocket Matter Pay, 25 GB storage
Pro$95$1,140Unlimited storage, matter templates and workflows, document assembly
Premier$115$1,380Split billing, fee allocation, advanced permissions
Elite$145$1,740Built in law office accounting and matter budgets

One thing to know before you budget: the FAQ further down the same page says plans start at $49 per user a month billed annually, while the plan table starts Essentials at $59. Several software directories still print an older ladder of $49, $79, $99 and $129. We report the plan table because it is the more specific figure, but ask Rocket Matter sales which number your quote will use.

Every plan includes free data migration, phone, email and chat support, and a free trial that does not ask for a credit card. E-signatures are capped at 5 per user a month on the entry tier and 15 on the higher tiers, with $2 per envelope beyond that.

How much does the Rocket Matter CRM add-on cost?

The Rocket Matter CRM is where lead capture and intake live. It comes in two versions, and the pricing page says both are only available for Pro and Premier:

CRM versionPriceIntake formAutomations
Core CRM$39 per user a month yearly, $49 monthly1 website form, up to 50 fields, basic logic2
Enterprise CRM$147 a month yearly for up to 3 users, $177 monthly; $49 or $59 per extra userUp to 100 fields, advanced logicUnlimited

Both carry a one time $399 onboarding fee, and the footnote sets a 3 user minimum on the CRM. Core includes a lead inbox, text and email marketing, one lead vendor integration, five document templates and up to five contracts for e-signature. Enterprise raises that to three lead vendors and ten documents and contracts. Data imports for the CRM are quoted as custom work at $500.

The practical effect is that intake is a three part purchase on Rocket Matter: a plan that allows the add-on, the add-on itself, and the onboarding fee.

What a small firm really pays for intake on Rocket Matter

Here is the arithmetic for the most common case, Pro with Core CRM on annual billing:

  • Solo attorney: Pro at $95 plus the Core CRM 3 user minimum at $117 comes to about $212 a month, or $2,544 a year, plus $399 in year one.
  • Three person firm: $285 for Pro and $117 for Core CRM, $402 a month. That is $4,824 a year and $5,223 in the first year.
  • Five person firm: $475 for Pro and $195 for Core CRM, $670 a month, or $8,040 a year plus $399.
  • Five person firm on Enterprise CRM: $475 for Pro and $245 for the CRM ($147 plus two extra users at $49), $720 a month.

A firm on Essentials that wants intake has to move every seat to Pro first, which is $36 more per user a month before the CRM is added. For five people that upgrade alone is $2,160 a year. If you also want your website from Rocket Matter, the website service is another $149 a month with a $599 setup fee, and its integrated intake form also needs the CRM add-on.

Is Rocket Matter cheaper than Clio, MyCase or PracticePanther?

For billing alone, Essentials at $59 sits close to the entry tiers of its rivals. For intake, it is the most expensive of the four that publish prices, because the others put intake forms inside a plan instead of an add-on:

Product and tier with intake formsPer user a month, billed yearlyExtra fee for intake
Rocket Matter Pro plus Core CRM$134$399 onboarding, 3 user minimum
MyCase Pro$100None listed
PracticePanther Business$89None listed
ClioFrom $49 entry; Grow on higher plansGrow bundled or sold as an add-on
Consultations Practice (up to 5 people)$64 a month for the whole firm on yearly billingNone

Rocket Matter earns its price elsewhere. Its billing feature list is long (evergreen retainers, LEDES codes, batch billing, split billing, interest calculation), and Elite puts a legal chart of accounts and bank feeds inside the practice system. If your firm keeps a lighter plan and reconciles operating and trust accounts in a separate tool, a dedicated bank reconciliation software can match each monthly statement to your ledger without paying for Elite. Note that Rocket Matter says its QuickBooks Online integration is not available while you use Elite's built in accounting. The plan table also lists a conflict check under matter management; if conflicts are your bottleneck, our conflict check software comparison prices the dedicated options.

What the Rocket Matter CRM does not do

The CRM gives your staff a lead inbox, a form on your website and follow up automations. What it does not describe is the software holding the conversation. When a prospective client fills in the form at 9 at night, the lead waits in the inbox until someone calls back the next morning, and by then many of them have already booked with the firm that answered first.

That gap is what Consultations covers. It answers on your website the moment someone arrives, asks your screening questions in plain conversation, tells people honestly when the matter falls outside what you take, collects the documents and party names a conflict check needs, and books a qualified consultation on your calendar. Your attorney gets a structured brief before the call. The completed intake exports, so a firm can keep Rocket Matter for billing and still screen web leads without buying Pro and the CRM for every seat.

Solo is $49 a month for one professional, Practice is $129 for up to five and Firm is $299 for up to twenty, all flat per firm with no onboarding fee. Paid yearly, those are $288, $768 and $1,788. Rocket Matter pricing questions

How much does Rocket Matter cost?

Rocket Matter costs $59, $95, $115 or $145 per user a month for Essentials, Pro, Premier and Elite, paid annually, according to its pricing page on 6 October 2026. The CRM add-on for intake adds $39 per user a month on annual billing and a $399 onboarding fee, and it is only available on Pro and Premier.

Does Rocket Matter have a monthly plan?

The plan table only shows annual prices, and the page does not print a monthly rate for the four practice management plans. The CRM add-on does show both: Core CRM is $39 per user billed annually or $49 billed monthly, and Enterprise CRM is $147 or $177 a month for up to three users.

Does Rocket Matter have a CRM?

Yes, as a paid add-on called Rocket Matter CRM. It includes a lead inbox, a custom website intake form, text and email marketing, lead vendor integrations and automations. It is available on the Pro and Premier plans only, costs from $39 per user a month, and has a one time $399 onboarding fee.

Does Rocket Matter have a free trial?

Yes. Rocket Matter offers a free trial on every plan with no credit card required, and it also offers a scheduled demo. The pricing page says every plan includes free data migration, though CRM data imports are listed separately as custom work at $500.

Is Rocket Matter worth it for a small law firm?

It is worth it if billing and trust accounting are the center of your practice and you want every plan price printed. It is harder to justify if intake was the reason you were shopping, because a solo attorney pays about $212 a month for Pro with the CRM minimum, against $49 to $89 for tools that include intake.
